Summer Reading Time!
It's that time of year again! Are you excited?! Here is the schedule for the Cocke County Libraries!
Cosby Community Library
June 14 at 1:00 p.m. - speaker "Jo"- Bags of Love
June 21 at 1:00 p.m. - speaker Leslie Gibbens--"Snake"
June 28 at 1:00 p.m. - Meka Henderson--Keep Cocke County Beautiful July 5 at 1:00 p.m. - Pizza party!
Snacks will be given at the end of each program
Marie Ellison Memorial Library
June 7 at 1:00 p.m. - Leslie Gibbens--meet her Corn snake " Orville "
June 14 at 1:00pm - Meka Henderson will be teaching about reusing and recycling
June 21 at 1:00 p.m. - Local children's author Etta Sare will be reading from her book and then follow up on answering any questions you have on life as an author.
June 28 at 1:00 p.m. - Create something with treats. What can you come up with using pretzel sticks, cookies, rice crispy treats and frosting!? Pizza Party!
Snacks will be at each program.
*This year is different; earn points and the one with the most points will get a free airbrushed T-shirt from Barry Meadows at "Unique".

Come to each program (bring your reading sheet so I can sign it each time)

June 7th at 2:30 p.m. - Book Reading about Community Helpers. Scavenger Hunt for older kids and Community Bingo for the younger kids. Dalmatian dog craft
June 14th at 2:30 p.m. - Recycling Program. Book reading on recycling.
June 21st at 2:30 p.m. - Local children's author Etta Sare will read her book and then follow up on answering any questions you have on life as an author.
June 28th at 2:30 p.m. - Kim Studebaker will be having a program that is circus themed. Pizza party!

June 1 at 11:00 a.m. - Blue Ridge Veterinary Services program with an Australian Shepherd
June 8 at 11:00 a.m. - Charlotte Mims and D.A.R. members presenting a program on Flag Day
June 15 at 11:00 a.m. - Gene Orick and Chief Loveheart doing an Indian program
June 22 at 11:00 a.m. - Leslie Gibbens and Orville presenting a program on snakes
June 29 at 11:00 a.m. - Games, scavenger hunt, prizes, and a pizza party
