Cocke County Tennessee Library System
Our Mission: The Cocke County Library System makes ideas and information accessible for people of all ages, all educational and all economic backgrounds in Cocke County by providing a variety of information delivery formats for recreational, intellectual, cultural, educational and occupational purposes.
Borrowing Procedures
Every Cocke County resident is eligible to borrow materials from Cocke County libraries. All customers must fill out an official application card. Adults must provide valid identification with legal address. Customers below the age of 16 should complete a juvenile application, which must be signed by a parent or guardian. The application card should be dated and checked periodically to be sure it is current.
Library cards will expire after three (3) years. (Example, a card issued in May 1997 will expire in May 2000.)
First-time borrowers will be limited to one item.
For individuals filing bankruptcy with the library, a limit of one item will be allowed to circulate per visit, to be returned at the next visit. If the debt is paid, full benefits will be restored. [This section revised 11 March 2003.]
